Southern Cross University is offering a fully funded PhD scholarship in geochronology and archaeogeochemistry to study early human expansion in Southeast Asia and Australasia. The research involves analytical work on LA-MC-ICPMS and Electron Spin Resonance, collaborating with scientists from multiple countries. Both domestic and international applicants are eligible, with a preference for candidates experienced in geochronology, geochemistry, or human evolution research. The successful applicant will join the Geoarchaeology and Archaeometry Research Group at Southern Cross University's Lismore campus in Australia, working alongside postdocs and PhD students on the project.
