New data capture and visualisation techniques present exciting opportunities for advancing cultural heritage communication, preservation, and interpretation. These PhD projects aim to investigate and develop novel visualisation approaches for cultural heritage. The project is open to various research paths, which may include but are not limited to: advanced imaging and scanning techniques for cultural artifacts, temples, and historical sites; AI-driven analysis and virtual reconstruction of ruined or at-risk heritage sites; innovative uses of extended reality cultural heritage interpretation and pedagogy; developing sustainable and accessible digital archiving systems for intangible cultural assets.
